Cdl Driver

This position offers an opportunity for an experienced CDL Class A Driver to safely transport rental equipment to and from customer job sites using tractor trailers and rollback trucks. You will focus on local deliveries, provide professional customer service, and uphold high safety standards while handling a variety of construction and rental equipment.

• Transport rental equipment safely and efficiently to and from customer job sites using tractor trailers and rollback trucks.
• Operate rollback and tow trucks to load, secure, transport, and unload equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Handle and transport construction and rental equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, skid steers, excavators, and telehandlers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operating condition.
• Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport and comply with all applicable regulations.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules, routes, and instructions while maintaining on-time performance.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service at job sites, including clear communication with site contacts.
• Complete required delivery documentation and maintain accurate records of deliveries and equipment handled.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, traffic laws, and Department of Transportation regulations.
• Report any vehicle or equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean and safe driving record.
• Proven experience operating rollback or tow trucks.
• Proven experience driving and maneuvering tractor trailers.
• Experience transporting construction or rental equipment.
• Ability to safely handle and secure equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, skid steers, excavators, and telehandlers.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to transportation regulations.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic equipment checks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow delivery schedules, routes, and instructions accurately.

• Familiarity with loading, securing, and unloading a variety of rental and construction equipment.
• Comfort working around job sites and construction environments.
• Ability to complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Reliability and punctuality in meeting delivery commitments.

You will enjoy a predictable work schedule with local deliveries only, allowing you to return home each day. The role offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule with only occasional Saturday work when needed. This role is based on the road and at customer job sites, focusing on local, same-day deliveries with no overnight stays. You will primarily operate tractor trailers and rollback trucks while transporting rental and construction equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, skid steers, excavators, and telehandlers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work that is described as uncommon. The work involves driving, loading, securing, and unloading equipment in outdoor job site environments, where conditions can vary with weather and terrain. You are expected to maintain a professional appearance suitable for interacting with customers and working safely around heavy equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lorton, VA.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
