Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid School Psychologist certification for Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of assessments, interventions, and related best practices
- Strong ability to communicate and build relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Skilled in providing counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support student learning and emotional development
- Develop, implement, and monitor intervention strategies for students with academic, social, or behavioral challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on eligibility, services, and accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to cultivate positive learning environments
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
