Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Angola, IN

Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity focuses on providing services to a diverse caseload, with approximately half of the students enrolled in Applied Skills programs. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and staff to help students develop effective communication skills and make significant progress throughout the school year.

What you’ll bring:

• Active SLP license in Indiana
• Previous school-based experience is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of speech-language pathology principles and interventions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners, including those in Applied Skills programs

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to approximately 60 elementary students, with a balanced focus on general and specialized needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and families
• Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and track student progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Consult with staff and parents to ensure cohesive intervention strategies

Position highlights:

• Contract runs from October 12 to May 27
• Full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday
• Competitive pay rate of $55–$60 per hour, paid weekly
• Serve a caseload where about half the students participate in Applied Skills programs
