We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager to oversee commercial low-voltage and technology integration projects from kickoff through completion. This position is ideal for a project manager with strong experience in structured cabling, fiber, security, access control, CCTV, AV, and network infrastructure who understands both the operational and financial sides of project management.
The Project Manager will work closely with field teams, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple low-voltage projects from kickoff through completion and closeout
- Develop project schedules, manpower plans, budgets, and resource requirements
- Maintain responsibility for project profitability, job costing, forecasting, and WIP reporting
- Track project financial performance and identify potential cost or schedule issues
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and closeout packages
- Coordinate technicians, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
- Communicate directly with customers, general contractors, and project stakeholders
- Review project scope, drawings, specifications, contracts, and deliverables
- Monitor project milestones and ensure work remains on schedule
- Identify project risks and proactively resolve operational or technical issues
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and contractual requirements
- Maintain compliance with company and customer safety requirements
- Support and mentor field personnel and project team members
- Assist with customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional work
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience within low voltage, structured cabling, security integration, audiovisual, electrical, or a related industry
- Experience managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously
- Experience managing projects valued at $500K+ preferred
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, WIP, job costing, scheduling, and change order management
- Experience coordinating field labor, subcontractors, vendors, and customers
- Strong understanding of commercial construction environments and project documentation
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and related project management tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
Technical Experience
Candidates should have experience with one or more of the following systems:
- Structured Cabling – CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A
- Fiber Optic Infrastructure

- Network Infrastructure
- Telecom Rooms / MDF & IDF Buildouts
- Technology Integration
PMP, BICSI, or other relevant industry certifications are preferred but not required.
