LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing Construction company in Phoenix, AZ that is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join the team. This position pay range is $50.00-$55.00 per hour depending on experience. Must have 5+ manufacturing project management experience to qualify. This is a contract to hire position which includes medical benefits.
Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee projects from initial planning and estimating through production, delivery, and completion. This position is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, costs, materials, vendors, documentation, and customer requirements while working closely with production, engineering, purchasing, quality, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has strong project management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and modify detailed project and production schedules, including cost-loaded schedules and key project milestones.
  • Manage multiple manufacturing projects simultaneously from initial planning through production and final delivery.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, job costing, invoicing, and overall financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and interpret customer contracts, purchase orders, scopes of work, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, quality, operations, logistics, and other internal departments to keep projects on schedule.
  • Review manufacturing drawings, technical specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and production requirements.
  • Prepare project estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cost projections.
  • Identify changes in project scope and develop pricing, estimates, and documentation for change orders or additional work.
  • Track materials, equipment, labor requirements, vendor commitments, and production timelines.
  • Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and services meet project specifications and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify scheduling, budget, material, or production issues that could impact completion.
  • Communicate project status, schedule changes, budget concerns, and deliverables to customers and internal leadership.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, drawings, specifications, and change documentation.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings, production meetings, customer meetings, and project closeout activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to project execution, manufacturing efficiency, cost control, and workflow.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Assist in resolving project-related issues through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in project management within manufacturing, industrial production, fabrication, engineering, or a related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, job costing, budgeting, estimating, invoicing, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret contracts, technical specifications, manufacturing drawings, and project documentation.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, materials management, and supply chain coordination.
  • Strong estimating skills, including the ability to evaluate additional work and develop change-order pricing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, production teams, engineers, and leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project or similar project management/scheduling software.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP or manufacturing management systems is preferred.
