Are you a Superintendent who thrives on leading complex projects, building strong teams, and being the person everyone looks to when it is time to get the job done?

This is an opportunity to join one of the Bay Area’s most respected construction organizations and take the lead on high profile commercial projects ranging from $5M to $200M+. You will have a meaningful voice in the project, work alongside an experienced Project Management team, and play a critical role from preconstruction through final closeout.

What You’ll Do

As the lead Superintendent, you will own the field execution of your projects while partnering closely with the Project Manager and Project Executive.

• Lead all field operations from project startup through closeout

• Own project safety, quality, schedule, logistics, and day to day execution

• Lead and develop Foremen, field staff, subcontractors, and project team members

• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, architects, engineers, consultants, unions, and other project stakeholders

• Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project documents for constructability and coordination

• Drive project schedules and manpower planning to keep projects moving

• Lead daily site walks, safety meetings, pre task meetings, Foreman meetings, and project staff meetings

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, project partners, subcontractors, and the surrounding community

• Identify field issues early and work collaboratively with the project team to develop solutions

• Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, ASIs, as builts, and daily reports

• Champion a safety first culture and hold project teams and subcontractors accountable to high standards

• Mentor and develop the next generation of field leaders

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Superintendent who knows how to run a job, lead people, solve problems, and deliver results.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 4+ years of experience as the primary Superintendent on multifamily, commercial, or similarly complex projects

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building trades, scheduling, safety, and field coordination

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field teams

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to hold people accountable

• Experience working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders

• Construction Management or related degree preferred

• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office
