We are seeking a compassionate and experiencedBehavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting. This role is ideal for an RN with psychiatric/behavioral health experience who is comfortable providing patient assessments, supervising shifts, and supporting individualized treatment plans.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately.
Administer medications according to hospital policies.
Provide leadership and supervision during assigned shifts.
Delegate patient-care responsibilities and ensure nursing policies are followed.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary treatment teams.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Provide compassionate care using empathy, dignity, and respect.
Support treatment planning, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health experience required
CPR certification required within 30 days of hire and before patient contact
De-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire and before patient contact
Psychiatric, chemical dependency, dual-diagnosis, geriatric, acute-care, or ER experience is a plus
