Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment in the North Kansas City area. This opportunity, covering a leave for the remainder of the semester with the possibility for extension, invites a passionate and skilled SLP to step into a welcoming educational environment and have an immediate impact.

You’ll work a consistent full-time schedule (approximately 8 AM to 4 PM, weekdays), collaborating with educators and families to support student communication needs. The position is ideal for an SLP who thrives in school settings and is eager to engage within a dynamic learning community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Missouri
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
  • Strong school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Flexibility to adapt as caseload details are finalized

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students as assigned
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Complete timely and thorough documentation for ongoing progress and compliance
  • Consult regularly with families, teachers, and special education staff
  • Adapt to changing caseload needs to ensure seamless service coverage
