Are you an experienced insurance professional who enjoys helping clients but also has an interest in writing new business?
We are looking for an Insurance Customer Service Representative / Producer to join our independent insurance agency. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, managing their day-to-day insurance needs, and identifying opportunities to provide additional coverage.
As an independent agency, we represent multiple insurance companies, allowing us to offer our clients a variety of coverage and pricing options. You will have the opportunity to work with both personal and commercial insurance clients and develop long-term relationships.
• Provide exceptional day-to-day customer service to personal and commercial insurance clients
• Handle policy changes, endorsements, certificates, billing questions, and coverage questions
• Process applications, policy changes, renewals, and cancellations
• Quote and write new personal and commercial insurance business
• Develop new business through existing client relationships, referrals, networking, and other opportunities
• Communicate with multiple insurance carriers regarding underwriting and policy issues
• Illinois Property & Casualty Insurance License required or preferred
• Experience with personal lines and/or commercial insurance
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to quote and write new business
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional, friendly, and confident when communicating with clients
• Experience with an agency management system and insurance company rating systems preferred
