Job Title: Contract Senior Compensation Consultant

Pay: $60-70hr.

Our client is a well-established organization seeking an experienced compensation professional to support enterprise-wide compensation programs, market analysis, and organizational changes. This position will play a key role in strengthening compensation structures and ensuring consistency across the organization, particularly following mergers and acquisitions.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Contract Senior Compensation Consultant with strong experience in compensation strategy, job architecture, market pricing, and compensation program administration. The ideal candidate will bring a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation, experience with Ceridian Dayforce, and a strong understanding of compensation technology and salary survey data. Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, particularly standardizing job architecture and compensation structures after an acquisition, is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support participation in compensation surveys to collect and analyze relevant market data.
  • Develop and maintain compensation data tools and platforms used to support internal pay decisions.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and business partners on salary structures, job levels, pay grades, and compensation processes.
  • Support compensation analysis and wage recommendations for local plant and operational populations.
  • Assist with the design, tracking, and administration of annual incentive and MIP programs.
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate, align, and standardize sales incentive plans across teams.
  • Coordinate global merit planning, budgeting, and annual compensation cycle activities.
  • Support job architecture initiatives, including evaluating roles, leveling positions, and establishing consistent job structures.
  • Play a key role in post-merger integration efforts, helping harmonize job architecture, compensation programs, and organizational structures across acquired businesses.
  • Utilize HRIS and compensation technology to maintain accurate data and improve compensation processes.
  • Contribute to compensation-related projects, reporting, analysis, and other strategic initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in compensation management, analysis, and program administration.
  • Experience working with Ceridian Dayforce or similar HRIS/compensation platforms.
  • Experience utilizing compensation technology and salary survey platforms.
  • Salary survey creation and/or management experience is a major plus.
  • Significant merger and acquisition experience, particularly involving post-merger job architecture alignment and standardization.
  • Strong understanding of job leveling, pay structures, market pricing, and compensation programs.
  • Experience supporting merit cycles, incentive programs, and compensation planning.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
