POSITION OVERVIEW
Confidential Oklahoma City-area heavy civil construction opportunity for an experienced General Superintendent / Project Superintendent to support construction and field operations. The role is intended for a proven field leader who can help coordinate projects, crews, resources, and execution while strengthening the broader operations team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide field leadership and operational support across active heavy civil construction projects.
- Coordinate superintendents, foremen, crews, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and project priorities.
- Support project planning, scheduling, production, quality, safety, and execution from mobilization through completion.
- Work closely with project management and operations leadership to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
- Monitor manpower and equipment utilization and help align resources across projects.
- Reinforce accountability for safety, productivity, workmanship, schedule, and cost awareness.
- Develop and mentor field leaders while helping establish consistent operating expectations across crews.
- Communicate project status, constraints, resource needs, and operational risks to leadership.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND
- Significant heavy civil construction field leadership experience as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Project Superintendent, or comparable role.
- Experience coordinating multiple crews, scopes, or projects and working closely with project management and operations leadership.
- Background in roadway, earthwork, underground utilities, site development, concrete, asphalt, or related civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of field production, manpower/equipment planning, safety, scheduling, and construction execution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people, solve field problems, communicate across functions, and improve operational consistency.

COMPENSATION
Typical compensation: DOE, depending on experience and qualifications.
