In this hands-on role, you will play a critical part in ensuring product quality by inspecting precision-machined components, verifying compliance with engineering specifications, and supporting manufacturing excellence. To Be Successful in This Role, You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or related technical experience, or equivalent hands-on industry background
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and go/no-go gauges
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and ANSI standards preferred
  • Familiarity with quality systems, documentation practices, and inspection procedures
  • Basic computer proficiency for entering inspection results and maintaining records
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality workmanship

What You'll Be Responsible For
  • Inspect precision-machined components, assemblies, and subassemblies to verify quality requirements
  • Conduct first article, in-process, final, and visual inspections using established procedures
  • Utilize precision measurement equipment to confirm dimensional accuracy and product conformity
  • Complete inspection reports, quality records, and related documentation accurately and on time
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements
  • Review supplier inspection information and collect quality data as needed
  • Support calibration and maintenance activities for inspection equipment
  • Partner with production teams to address quality-related concerns and improve outcomes
  • Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to resolve day-to-day manufacturing challenges
  • Learn and apply new inspection techniques while maintaining compliance with quality standards
