Dry packaging operator is responsible for filling bags with the product, weighing up to 50 lbs, stitching/sealing bags sloe and physically moving bags to pallets
Duties and responsibilities
Stamp or label bags/boxes with lot code
Stitch / heat seal bags closed and verify the integrity of the seal
Verify net weight on electronic scale
Must be able to read production profile to understand the product
Follow all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
Previous machine experience or training required
Must be able to read and write English
Basic Math skills (Add, subtract, multiply)
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift approximately up to 50 pounds
