Job Title: Marine Designer ll-IVLocation: Mobile, ALType: ContractWork Model: Onsite – onsite
We are seeking experienced Marine Designers to support the design and construction of complex marine vessels. This opportunity is open to designers ranging from Level I through Level IV, with placement and compensation based on experience, technical expertise, and demonstrated design capabilities.
Responsible for developing 2D and 3D production drawings and models, collaborating with engineering and production teams, and supporting the design, construction, and modification of commercial and military vessels. This role offers opportunities for growth into technical leadership, mentoring, and project coordination responsibilities.

AutoCAD Experience
2D and 3D AutoCAD
Basic draw and modify commands
Layer management
Line types
Dimensioning
Units of measure
Creation of orthographic views from isometric drawings
3D modeling commands
Creation of 3D models from drawings and vendor-supplied data
XREF functionality
Interfacing with models from multiple disciplines
Clash-free 3D modeling practices
Preferred Software Experience:
Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:
Design Disciplines:
Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Senior-level candidates should demonstrate advanced knowledge in multiple disciplines and the ability to independently develop complex vessel designs.
