SHIPPING AND RECEIVING ASSOCIATE
Automation Personnel Services is looking for aShipping and Receiving Associatefor a company based inCalera,AL.In this role, you will have the opportunity togrow with the ability to train in other locations andgrowyour skills. It is a climate-controlled facility, and the company is family oriented.
Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday throughSaturday,600 am to 330 pm./Must be available for MANDATORY overtime
Shipping and Receiving AssociateDuties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
- Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
- Closelyfollow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Shipping and Receiving AssociateQualificationsandRequirements
- Will request proof of High school diploma, GED or Transcript before able to start
- Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program.
- Comfortable wearing a hair net and/or beard net.
- Ability to understand basic mathematical measurements.
- Attention to detail.
