About the role

Picture your day starting at a busy test line. Overnight, a few tricky failures were escalated from Repair Technicians. You dive into logs, isolate faults, and return healthy units to the flow. A finicky fixture needs attentionyou repair it, verify performance, and document the steps so the next person can replicate your fix. Before lunch, you polish a new standard operating procedure for operators, and in the afternoon you help Test Engineers bring a new station online for modeling, pre-pilot, and pilot runs. Throughout, you’re monitoring station performance and capturing detailed records of issues and failures to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll tackle
  • Troubleshoot and resolve sustaining production test problems escalated from Repair Technicians; report findings to Test Engineers.
  • Repair and maintain test fixtures and ensure they’re production-ready.
  • Monitor, measure, and maintain test station performance and uptime.
  • Create clear SOPs for operators/testers and keep testing procedures current.
  • Document processes, update SOPs, and maintain issue/failure histories.
  • Support Test Engineers with test station setup and processes, including modeling, pre-pilot, and pilot activities.
What you bring
  • 0–2 years of experience with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to read and interpret test logs.
  • Basic Linux/UNIX familiarity.
  • Comfort working with network equipment such as switches.
  • Hands-on experience with computer hardware (CPUs, NICs, memory, etc.).
  • Experience reading schematics/diagrams and familiarity with electrical components.
  • Calm under pressure; able to meet tight deadlines.
Physical and work environment
  • Lift up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Frequent walking, standing, repetitive bending, and some climbing.
  • Manufacturing environment with potential exposure to hazards/physical risks; basic safety precautions required.
  • Vision: close and distance vision, color identification, hand/eye coordination, depth perception, and adjustable focus.
