Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, performing manual labor, and supporting skilled tradespeople on-site. The ideal candidate will be reliable, physically fit, and eager to learn about the construction industry. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading construction materials and equipment
- Prepare job sites by cleaning and setting up necessary tools and supplies
- Perform manual tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling components
- Maintain safety standards by following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision
- Keep work areas organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures
- Reliable transportation to job sites (driver's license needed)
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Spanish Speaking is a plus
- Waterproofing, egress window, anchor installations a plus
Pay Scale
- $20-25 per hour with some overtime depending on experience.
