- Schedules jobs for specific departments to meet customer demand, maximize efficiency, and minimize inventory investment;
- Initiates/maintains proper control of the delivery and flow of material through the manufacturing process;
- Uses computer system to ensure accurate inventory records and proper allocation of materials;
- Utilizes measuring devices and applies basic mathematical equations;
- Ensures that parts are in compliance with customer specifications, ISO requirements, and/or customer component quality requirements;
- Maintains open lines of communication regarding quality issues within assigned department and other departments including various logs, reports, and follow up on issues;
- Performs a variety of quality tests and product verification procedures;
- Recommends to management any required modifications to work instructions and assists with training;
- Initiates for approval ISO quality documentation (temporary deviation, DVQR change forms, NCMR, other information system changes, etc.); and forwards and follows up as appropriate;
- Generates, maintains, and closes manufacturing orders in a closed-loop system;
- Cycle counts inventory as needed;
- Maintains good attendance, flexibility in job assignments, adaptable to changing business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills;
- Works with co-workers in a safe, professional, and cooperative manner;
- Meets minimum physical/mental demand levels with or without reasonable accommodation;

- Trains others on knowledge and skills mastered;

Pre-Requisites/Minimum Qualifications:
One-year certificate from college or technical school. Knowledge of ISO Quality Standard and Procedures; reading/mathematical skills to use and understand prints, procedures, and instructions, measuring equipment, and related demands; demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills; basic computer skills; familiarity with use of measuring devices; prior finishing, assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel. Knowledge of inventory, safety programs, and team facilitation preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills required. Must be self - motivated and able to train and motivate others. Basic technical and mechanical aptitude and experience needed.
