Position Description: LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT MANAGER

SUMMARY
Moss Landscaping is an award-winning, full-service landscape firm serving the Greater Houston area, including River Oaks, Memorial and West University. Our team of Landscape Maintenance Account Managers are responsible for building and supervising Landscape Maintenance Field Supervisors and crews. We believe in quality and ensuring our clients’ investments, while continuing to add value to the property long after the original installation. Our Landscape Maintenance Account Managers are assigned a client portfolio and they work closely with our clients to ensure all of their property needs are met.
DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
•\tUpholds safe work conditions by adhering to safety guidelines and involvement with safety training
•\tResponsible for managing a portfolio of 50-60 high-end landscape maintenance clients/properties
•\tEstablish and maintain professional customer relationships in order to increase client retention
•\tMaintain quality control on all assigned properties and projects and ensure employees are trained on horticultural best practices when performing maintenance
•\tBid maintenance and enhancements as well as up-selling all other company services
•\tResponsible for meeting designated sales goals
•\tContinually increase the efficiency of the department by communicating routes and schedules with Director of Maintenance and Field Supervisors
•\tMaintain communication with maintenance staff and other departments to ensure job profitability
•\tMonitors inclement weather and communicates with assigned staff
•\tCertifies vehicle inspections, responsible for care and maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and tools
•\tResponsible for communicating and enforcing Moss Landscaping’s Policies and Procedures to employees
•\tMust maintain software and programs in place in order to succeed at job and manage Field Supervisors and Crews including managing assigned employee timesheets
•\tPerforms additional duties as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS + ABILITIES
•\tTeam oriented and able to offer support on special projects where needed
•\tAble to communicate effectively and professionally, both in-person, over the phone, and via email
•\tKnowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
•\tAbility to build and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments and clients.
•\tMust be customer focused and be able to handle high volume of client requests
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + WORK ENVIRONMENT
•\tInvolves light to moderate work in most types of weather
•\tIncludes frequent standing, walking, sitting and active movement throughout the day
•\tThis is an autonomous position that requires self-sufficiency and self-motivation
•\tMust be confident and able to direct assigned team of employees and determine the best solutions to each client’s individual requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•\t2+ years of experience high-end residential landscape maintenance
•\tValid Texas driver’s license and clear driving record
•\tAble to effectively communicate in Spanish
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annually
