Robert Half is partnering with a healthcare organization in search of an Accountant to support core financial operations for a small and very tenured team. This role is well suited for an individual who can manage routine accounting activities while helping maintain accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate brings solid experience with close processes, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance, along with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions
- Support revenue tracking and financial reporting processes
- Prepare and process accounts payable
- Maintain capital asset records and schedules
- Serve as backup for bi-weekly payroll processing
- Assist with audit preparation and related documentation
- Provide support for budgeting and financial planning activities
- Help prepare materials and provide support for board meetings
- Collaborate closely with the CFO and small accounting team on day-to-day financial operations

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting experience required
- Experience with payroll required
- Knowledge of accounts payable, financial reporting, and general accounting processes

- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
