Cascade RetroFoam (formerly Washington RetroFoam) is the exclusive RetroFoam injection foam installer serving Washington, Oregon, and soon Idaho. We help homeowners improve comfort, reduce energy costs, and increase home efficiency through our proprietary non-toxic injection foam insulation process.
We are seeking a highly motivated Foreman in Training to lead residential installation crews and serve as the face of the company on every project. The Foreman is responsible for crew performance, job quality, customer satisfaction, equipment management, and daily project execution.
This is a leadership position with significant responsibility and opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership
- Lead and manage a crew of 2-3 team members.
- Assign daily responsibilities and ensure efficient workflow.
- Train and develop technicians into future crew leaders.
- Set expectations for professionalism, safety, quality, and productivity.
- Hold crew members accountable to company standards.
Customer Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the project.
- Review scope of work before installation begins.
- Communicate project progress and answer homeowner questions.
- Collect final payment and ensure project completion paperwork is accurate.
- Deliver a five-star customer experience on every project.
Installation & Production
- Perform and oversee all aspects of RetroFoam installation.
- Operate foam injection equipment and maintain production standards.
- Oversee drilling, siding removal/reinstallation, patching, cleanup, and job completion.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Identify and solve field challenges independently.
Quality Control
- Inspect all completed work before leaving the job site.
- Ensure installations meet company standards.
- Protect homeowner property throughout the installation process.
- Verify job site cleanliness and customer satisfaction before departure.
Equipment & Vehicle Management
- Maintain company truck, trailer, and installation equipment.
- Monitor inventory and material usage.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are organized and operational.
Safety
- Enforce company safety policies.
- Conduct work safely in residential environments.
- Ensure crew compliance with ladder and equipment safety procedures.
Requirements
Required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to drive and maneuver a truck with an 18-foot trailer.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Comfortable working on ladders and around residential construction sites.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proven reliability and punctuality.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred
- 3+ years of construction, remodeling, home improvement, or skilled trade experience.
- Experience leading crews or managing projects.
- Experience in siding, roofing, windows, insulation, carpentry, painting, or similar trades.
- Customer-facing experience.
- Equipment operation experience.
