Pay: $30/hr - $33/hr
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Network Monitor to support a federal client at Langley AFB, VA. This individual will provide Tier 1 network monitoring, operational support, and help desk services across a global enterprise environment.
Their day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring network infrastructure and system health across a global enterprise
- Conducting fault management to detect, isolate, and resolve network anomalies
- Monitoring all network nodes for operational integrity
- Responding to trouble calls and operational incidents
- Creating, maintaining, and updating trouble tickets and operational logs
- Investigating error logs and troubleshooting network issues
- Escalating incidents to appropriate engineering teams when necessary
- Supporting network troubleshooting and trend analysis through monitoring tools
- Assisting with network planning, engineering, and operational support activities
- Developing quarterly metrics and workload reports for leadership
- Supporting 24/7 operations through shift-based coverage
Required Skills & Experience
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Minimum of 3 years of Network Operations experience
- Current CompTIA Security+ Certification (IAT Level II)
- Experience working in Network Operations Centers (NOC) or enterprise network environments
- Experience utilizing network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities
- Willingness to support shift work and 24/7 operational environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Cisco CCNA
- Experience supporting DoD or federal network environments
- Experience with enterprise monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with network performance metrics and trend analysis
- Experience creating operational reports and executive-level status updates
Compensation
Pay: $30/hr - $33/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, and other factors.
