Job Description

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – TS/SCI

Palm Bay, FL | Full-time direct hire | Onsite | 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) | Relocation available

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required

Gabriella & Co. is partnering with a confidential aerospace and defense organization in Palm Bay to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer. You will develop digital, analog, power and mixed-signal electronics for mission-critical programs, taking circuit card assemblies from requirements through integration and test inside an integrated product team.

An active, current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required to be considered. If you do not currently hold it, this role is not the right fit, but we would still welcome your profile for future openings.

What you'll own

  • CCA design using mixed-signal technologies: A/D and D/A conversion, processors, I/O communications and FPGA/CPLD programmable logic
  • The full digital CCA lifecycle: requirements, preliminary design, peer review, detailed design, test plans, integration and verification
  • Schematics, functional and block diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams across digital, analog, power and mixed-signal designs
  • Solutions built on Xilinx FPGAs, TI DSPs, Freescale/Intel processors, microcontrollers, CPLDs and DDRx, SRAM, ROM and Flash memory
  • Advanced board technologies (HDI, Meg6, back drilling) and high-speed DDRx memory interface design
  • Schematic capture, constraint-driven layout, simulation and timing analysis
  • Collaboration with Systems, Mechanical, Software, Firmware and EE teams; customer reviews and program execution

What you bring

  • Active and current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's with 6+ years of relevant experience, a graduate degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years in lieu of a degree
  • Demonstrated digital and/or mixed-signal hardware design and end-to-end CCA development
  • Ability to work independently, communicate technical decisions clearly and deliver against cost and schedule milestones
  • Ability to work onsite in Palm Bay

Preferred: high-speed memory and network interfaces with signal-integrity experience; FPGA/CPLD-based architectures; hands-on debugging with signal generators, logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes; experience leading a design team across Hardware, Software and Systems Engineering.

Package: comprehensive benefits, 9/80 schedule, relocation assistance, occasional travel. US Citizens only for this clearance level; no visa sponsorship is available.

To be considered, reply with your resume and confirm that you hold an active, current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Please also confirm that you have not applied to or been submitted for this role in the past 90 days.
