Assembly Technician

Position Summary:

• Responsible for assembling, modifying, and troubleshooting prototype vehicle systems and components.
• Applies working knowledge of vehicle assemblies, mechanical systems, and build processes to support prototype development activities with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and modify prototype vehicle components and systems.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Troubleshoot assembly and fitment issues.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Support testing, rework, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of mechanical, automotive, manufacturing, or assembly experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle assemblies and mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• This positions it as a step above entry level, with an expectation of prior hands-on automotive or assembly experience and familiarity with vehicle systems.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
