Job Title: CNC Swiss Machinist

Are you an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist looking for a long-term opportunity with strong pay, consistent overtime, and a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment?

We are seeking skilled CNC Swiss Machinists to support the production of highly engineered precision components. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced Swiss lathes and mill-turn centers while applying your programming, setup, troubleshooting, and machining expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
  • Program, edit, set up, and operate various CNC Swiss lathes and mill-turn centers.
  • Perform complete machine setups, tooling changes, and production changeovers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications.
  • Modify and optimize programs to improve quality, efficiency, and cycle times.
  • Monitor production runs and maintain tight tolerances on precision components.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and throughput.
  • Support a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of CNC Swiss machining experience preferred.
  • Strong background with machine setup, programming, editing, and operation.
  • Experience producing tight-tolerance precision components.
  • Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T principles.
  • Proficiency with G-code programming and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a production environment.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
