RN - Nephrology / M/S (Days)

A Registered Nurse opportunity on a 24-bed Nephrology/Med-Surg unit at a 198-bed, Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah based in Farmington, NM.

The role. This day-shift RN position is embedded within a combined Nephrology and Medical-Surgical unit caring for a geriatric and adult patient population. The nurse will manage a caseload of four to six patients, working with common diagnoses and treatments including end-stage renal disease (ESRD), peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis. Clinical tools on the unit include VS machines, bladder scanners, patient lifts, thermal imaging, and IV pumps, with documentation carried out in Cerner. Float coverage across the facility may be required as needed.

What we're looking for.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience; 2 years preferred
• BLS upon submission. All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments.
• Nephrology experience preferred but not required
• Charge Nurse experience preferred but not required
• Must obtain New Mexico licensure prior to start (open to candidates who do not currently hold New Mexico or Compact licensure)

Schedule. Days, 0700–1930.

Compensation. $29.05 - $46.48/hr plus $2 sign-on bonus
