Job Description

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Production Associates to support a busy manufacturing operation. You will operate production equipment, assemble and package products, verify measurements with a tape measure, and perform quality inspections while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role suits individuals who enjoy hands-on work, can follow detailed instructions, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general production and manufacturing duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Read and accurately use a tape measure to verify dimensions and specifications.
  • Assemble, package, and inspect products in accordance with established quality standards.
  • Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules to meet output requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks, identify defects or inconsistencies, and promptly report issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist with material handling, including moving and staging materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members and support other production tasks as required.

Essential Skills

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure for verifying measurements.
  • Basic math skills, including working with fractions and measurements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with hand tools and power tools.
  • Experience in assembly, fabrication, or machine operation.
  • Ability to read production drawings or detailed work instructions.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Experience using inspection tools or performing basic product inspections.

Work Environment

The position involves daily use of production machinery, hand tools, power tools, and tape measures, as well as interaction with production schedules, work instructions, and quality inspection processes. Safety policies and procedures guide all tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized work area is an essential part of the job.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belton, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
