We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead sourcing, inventory planning, and material flow for a specialized aerospace manufacturing operation in Kent, Washington. This position plays a key role in securing hard-to-find components, supporting production timelines, and building strong supplier relationships in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings a practical understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and can balance logistics, purchasing, and operational priorities to keep the business moving efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Direct sourcing strategies for recycled, repurposed, and specialty materials required for aerospace component production.

• Oversee inventory planning and stock control to align material availability with manufacturing schedules and customer demand.

• Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including negotiations, purchasing activity, and ongoing performance monitoring.

• Coordinate closely with operations and warehouse staff to maintain efficient material movement from procurement through production completion.

• Evaluate lead times, supply risks, and production requirements to support timely and cost-effective decision-making.

• Guide a small onsite team responsible for warehouse support, parts coordination, and purchasing functions.

• Use internal systems, including Pentagon, to track inventory, purchasing activity, and supply chain performance.

• Identify creative sourcing solutions for difficult-to-obtain materials while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

The salary range for this position is $95k to $120k (negotiable as well). Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with a match and 15 days of paid vacation, 7 days of paid sick leave and 9 paid holidays per calendar year.

• Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, logistics, and purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end production workflows, including planning, lead times, and material coordination.
• Background managing supplier relationships and sourcing strategies for specialized or hard-to-find components.
• Experience overseeing inventory systems and maintaining accurate stock levels to support operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fully onsite role while managing multiple priorities.
• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising cross-functional or warehouse-related team members.
• Familiarity with global supply chain considerations and procurement processes is preferred.
