Job Title: Forklift Driver/warehouse
Duration: 2.5+ Month Contract
Pay Rate: $21.50- $23hr.
Location: Fort Worth TX USA 76244
Split Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday; 1–2 weeks of training on 1st shift)
Job Summary:
Is seeking experienced Warehouse Workers to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. The role involves shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, forklift operation, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment while following all company safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, labeling, and product wrapping activities.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and support inventory control processes.
- Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Stage finished products for outbound shipments and verify materials before loading.
- Inspect incoming raw materials and reject damaged products.
- Ensure only quality-approved products are prepared for shipment.
- Complete warehouse documentation and inventory records accurately.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members across shifts.
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations experience.
- Previous inventory control experience.
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to accurately complete warehouse paperwork and shipping documentation.
Additional Requirements
- Steel-toed safety shoes are required on the first day of employment.
- Safety shoe reimbursement available up to $125.
- Ability to work assigned shift and overtime as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory management, and quality control processes.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on safety, productivity, and accuracy.
