Job Description
This role seeks an experienced Journeyman Plumber with strong experience in mechanical piping systems for large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. You will focus on the installation, fabrication, and maintenance of hydronic heating, cooling, and process piping systems, primarily in mechanical rooms and complex commercial environments. You will work closely with multiple trades to deliver high-quality, code-compliant piping installations on demanding job sites. This role will be full time in Portland, ME. We are offering $110 a day per diem as well as $30 - $37 an hour. This role will be going on for the next year.

Work Environment
This role is based on large-scale commercial and industrial construction sites, with a primary focus on mechanical rooms and high-demand project environments. You will work with a variety of piping materials including steel, copper, PVC, PEX, and cast iron, and regularly interact with boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, valves, and related mechanical equipment. The work involves close coordination with HVAC, electrical, and structural trades, often in tight and complex spaces. Standard construction site safety practices apply, with adherence to OSHA regulations. Work hours follow typical construction schedules, with the expectation of reliability and readiness to work on active job sites. Per diem is provided on a daily basis to support work-related travel and on-site expenses

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
