Licensed Health Insurance Enrollment Specialist

We are recruiting Licensed Health Insurance Agents on behalf of a cutting-edge, venture-backed health technology company. Their platform enables modern companies to transition away from traditional group health plans toward flexible, personalized health benefit stipends.

In this high-impact seasonal role, you will guide individuals through choosing and enrolling in the best healthcare coverage for their unique needs during Open Enrollment, followed by specialized issue and carrier resolution work post-enrollment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enrollment Consultation & Guidance (Peak Season): Conduct inbound/outbound consultation calls to guide client employees through selecting individual health insurance plans suited to their personal healthcare needs and budget.
  • Carrier Relations & Issue Resolution: Serve as the liaison between members and 80+ national carrier partners to troubleshoot enrollment blockers, verify plan activations, and clear carrier escalations.
  • Post-Enrollment & Payment Operations (Post-Dec 15): Investigate complex billing, payment, and enrollment discrepancies, working directly with carriers and policyholders to ensure seamless coverage continuity.
  • Multichannel Support: Handle escalated member support via phone, email, and live chat with high empathy and clarity.

  • Flexible & Driven: Thrives in a fast-moving tech environment, comfortable navigating shift splits during peak enrollment weeks, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
  • Bilingual (Spanish):Bilingual Spanish-speaking licensed agents are highly encouraged to apply!

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Licensure:Active Health Insurance License (Life & Health or Accident & Health) in good standing in your resident state. (No specific state preference).
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in health insurance sales, enrollment advising, customer service, or benefits administration.
  • Training Availability: Must be available for mandatory 2-week full-time onboarding starting October 21 (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST).
  • Full Season Availability: Full-time commitment required October 21, 2026 through February 2027.
  • Tech & Setup: Comfortable using modern software tools; must have a dedicated home office setup with high-speed internet.

Location: Fully Remote (US - Open to all states)

Pay Rate: $24-$29 / hour

Employment Type: Seasonal / Full-Time Contract (October 2026 - February 2027)

Schedule:

  • Peak Season (Nov 1 - Dec 15): Operations run 7 days a week; schedules fall within weekday hours (9:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST) and weekend shifts (11:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST).
  • Post-Dec 15: Shifts focus to member issue resolution and carrier payment operations.
