- 32-bed Med/Surg unit
- 3 Step-Down beds
- 29 Med/Surg/Telemetry beds
- Staffing ratios:
- Tele/Pediatrics: 1:4
- Step-Down: 1:3
- Med/Surg: 1:5
- Medication System: Omnicell
- Documentation: Cerner
- Pharmacy: 24/7
- Phlebotomy: 24/7 for lab draws
- Unit Secretary: 24/7
- Hospitalist coverage: 24/7
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- EPIC experience required
- Acute-care experience preferred
- PALS preferred/optional for the first contract
- PALS must be obtained if the traveler extends into additional contracts
- BSN preferred
- Weekend rotation required
