Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to support staffing efforts for a metal fabrication organization in Cedar Park, Texas. This role will drive end-to-end talent acquisition activities, partner closely with leaders to anticipate workforce needs, and build strong candidate pipelines across a range of recruiting channels. The ideal candidate brings a strategic approach to sourcing, strong knowledge of employment practices, and a commitment to delivering a smooth and detail-oriented recruitment experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the recruitment process from initial intake meetings through candidate selection, offer stage, pre-employment steps, and new employee onboarding coordination.

• Work directly with supervisors and department leaders to understand staffing priorities and create effective plans to fill positions within expected timelines.

• Draft and manage job postings across online platforms, social media, company career pages, and niche industry outlets to attract applicants with relevant experience.

• Identify talent through diverse channels such as referrals, networking, schools, community organizations, military groups, recruitment events, and job boards.

• Present compensation and staffing recommendations, then extend employment offers after approvals are finalized.

• Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process to support a positive candidate experience and keep searches moving forward.

• Oversee pre-employment requirements, including background screening, drug testing, physical exams, reference checks, and employment eligibility verification.

• Keep applicant tracking records current and audit documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and employment regulations.

• Monitor recruiting performance data, support employee referral initiatives, and recommend process improvements that strengthen staffing efficiency and early retention.

• Participate in onboarding and early integration efforts, including activities that help new employees settle in during their first 90 days and reduce turnover risk.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a corporate or industrial setting.
• Background recruiting for manufacturing, aerospace, engineering, industrial operations, or skilled trades environments is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
• Solid understanding of hiring regulations, equal employment practices, and California employment law.
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems and standard recruiting technologies, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interviewing, candidate evaluation, organization, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage several open requisitions at once.
• Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and flexibility to work on a permanent basis with additional hours or weekends when needed.
