Battery Material Handler / Forklift Operator
$20.00/hour | F Shift | Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
We are hiring Battery Material Handlers / Forklift Operators to support a busy manufacturing operation. This position involves unloading battery materials, handling custom molds, loading scrap crates, and preparing batteries for transportation to the factory assembly line.
What You'll Do
- Operate a forklift to safely unload battery crates from incoming trailers.
- Move wooden battery crates from trailers onto designated tables.
- Use a hoist to remove crate lids and expose the batteries.
- Secure batteries with straps and use the hoist to safely lift and position them.
- Place batteries into custom molds for the assembly line.
- Unload empty custom molds as needed.
- Load empty/scrap crates into the appropriate trailer.
- Load prepared batteries onto trailers for transportation to the factory.
- Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Trailer Operations
This role supports four trailer operations:
- Battery Supply Trailer: Unload incoming battery crates.
- Custom Mold Trailer: Unload empty molds needed for production.
- Scrap Crate Trailer: Load empty/scrap crates.
- Factory Battery Trailer: Load prepared batteries for delivery to the factory.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience with hoists or lifting equipment is a plus.
- Ability to safely work around heavy materials and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the full scheduled shift.

Pay: $20.00/hour
F Shift: Friday–Sunday
Hours: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
3 days per week
