How you’ll make an impact
  • Be a visible champion for ATS’s safety culture and maintain strict adherence to regulatory and company requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders to design engineered reliability upgrades that elevate throughput and stability.
  • Identify equipment replacement/upgrade opportunities and craft ROI-backed capital requests.
  • Instill precision reliability: standards, critical elements, and best practices embedded into daily work.
  • Use precision instruments and methods to diagnose, verify, and sustain asset condition.
  • Build, refine, and govern equipment-specific maintenance plans grounded in Reliability Centered Maintenance.
  • Blend predictive, preventive, and precision maintenance to control risk ahead of failure and ensure optimal execution.
  • Lead FMEA sessions and convert insights into actionable maintenance strategies.
  • Advance Work Execution Management maturity; coach and mentor teams to close performance gaps identified during strategy sessions.
  • Teach, facilitate, and coach ATS Root Cause Analysis, Bad Actor removal, and Fault Tree Analysis.
  • Translate reliability work into KPI improvements aligned with both ATS and customer objectives.
What you bring
  • ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent heavy industrial maintenance/reliability/operations experience.
  • 5+ years of reliability experience with proven outcomes.
  • Full command of reliability tools: RCA, RCM, and FMEA.
  • Master-level competency with predictive technologies and strong machine health monitoring skills.
  • Vibration I and Infrared I certifications.
  • Experience coaching Work Execution Management practices.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical and/or electrical components, tooling, and design principles.
  • Capability in FMEA, fishbone/cause-and-effect analysis, root cause failure analysis, life-cycle cost modeling, and risk analysis.
  • Track record of researching and applying new equipment technologies and trends.
  • Strong quantitative analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Comfort with CMMS/maintenance software; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong reporting and technical writing.
  • Clear communicator and facilitator; relationship builder; experienced cross-functional leader.
Bonus points
  • Desire to move into leadership.
  • Background in data trend analysis; vibration, motor current, and oil analysis; lubrication and hydraulic testing; laser alignment; NDT; infrared thermography; ultrasound; acoustic reliability; Weibull; and Lean/Six Sigma methods.
  • Knowledge of cGMP, NETA, EPA, and OSHA.
  • Ultrasound I; Maintenance Lubrication Analyst I.
  • CMRP/ARP/CRP/CRL; Green Belt; STS.

Physical requirements and environment

Expect frequent standing and walking; hands-on work using hands; reaching; climbing/balancing; and routine stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, with regular speaking and hearing. Occasional sitting. At times you may lift or move items exceeding 50 pounds. Close and color vision are used often. You may occasionally encounter outdoor conditions and electrical shock hazards. Work is typically performed in a very loud factory setting where hazardous materials and greasy or slippery floors may be present.
