Automotive Mechanic

AJ Automotive is seeking an experienced, dependable Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for someone who is comfortable performing major mechanical repairs as well as general automotive maintenance.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with consistent daytime hours and no weekend work.

Pay & Schedule

• $25.00 per hour

• Full-time

• Monday–Friday

• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• No weekends

• Closed on major holidays

Primary Responsibilities

The majority of this position will involve:

• Removing and replacing transmissions

• Brake repairs and brake replacement

• Oil changes

• Routine vehicle maintenance

• Engine bay repairs and mechanical work

• Engine removal and replacement

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues

• Performing other automotive repairs and maintenance as needed

• Keeping the work area clean and organized

• Properly handling customers' vehicles and equipment

Requirements

• Previous professional automotive repair experience required

• Must have experience removing and replacing transmissions

• Experience with engine replacement and engine bay work

• Strong knowledge of brake systems and general vehicle maintenance

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Must be dependable and able to work Monday through Friday

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Own tools are preferred
