A 198-bed, Level III trauma center in Farmington, NM is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiology/Intermediate Care (IMC) unit on the night shift. The medical center serves the Four Corners region and holds accreditation in PCI, Mammography, and Laboratory services.

The role. This RN position is based on a 24-bed Cardiology/IMC unit caring for adult and geriatric patients presenting with diagnoses including STEMI, NonSTEMI, stroke, post-cath, and ETOH. Nurses manage titrating drips with a 1:3 patient ratio for active IMC patients on nights, and a 1:4–5 ratio for standard IMC patients, with Med/Surg ratios of 1:5–6. The unit operates with standard cardiology monitoring equipment including telemetry and T-1s, IV pumps, and crash carts, and documents in Cerner.

What we're looking for.

  • Associate degree in Nursing or higher with state RN license; candidates who do not hold New Mexico or Compact licensure are considered but must obtain licensure prior to start
  • Minimum 1 year of IMC or Cardiology experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience
  • BLS required upon submission
  • All other required certifications can be obtained after hire; please refer to Life Support Certification document in attachments

Schedule. Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.

Compensation. $29.05 - $46.48/hr plus $2 sign-on bonus
