As a Manufacturing Quality Inspector, you will report to the Quality Manager and evaluate custom sheet metal assemblies, welded structural components, and mixed manufactured products. The role focuses on verifying product quality through incoming, in-process, and final inspections while maintaining accurate inspection documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspections of materials and components.
- Conduct final inspections of manufactured products.
- Inspect welds and welded structural components for quality and conformance.
- Inspect custom sheet metal assemblies and fabricated parts.
- Perform dimensional measurements using appropriate inspection tools.
- Review blueprints and specifications to verify product requirements.
- Complete and maintain inspection documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection.
- Technical certificate in manufacturing, welding, or quality inspection.
- Blueprint reading experience.
- Welding inspection experience.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail.
