Critical Path Consultants, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Project Manager, Interested in supporting Site Development Crews through Routine Day to Day Operations.

Role Description The APM role is a full-time, on-site position based in Winchester, VA. This role supports project delivery by coordinating schedules, tracking milestones, and assisting with documentation and reporting. The APM will work with expeditors, inspectors, and logistics teams to ensure materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, identifying and escalating risks or delays, maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders, and helping optimize workflows and resource allocation. The APM will also contribute to continuous improvement efforts, supporting the development of best practices and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination or project management, with skills in planning, tracking tasks, and supporting delivery.
• Background in expediting or expeditor roles, including experience with expediting processes to ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Knowledge of inspection practices and quality checks to verify that materials and services meet required standards.
• Skills in logistics management, including coordinating shipments, managing schedules, and resolving delivery issues.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, project tracking tools); familiarity with project management software is beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in business, project management, operations, or a related field is preferred; industry certifications are a plus.
