Mechanical Reliability Engineer Test Infrastructure & ThermalFluid SystemsRole snapshot
Help keep sophisticated mechanical test assets running at peak performance. In this sustaining-focused role, you’ll support, maintain, and continuously improve complex test infrastructure used to validate advanced energy systems. Your work ensures high-fidelity test stands remain operational, reliable, and truly representative of realworld conditions.
You’ll engage with test environments that span thermal management, fluid handling, air handling, pumps, manifolds, and related subsystems used to evaluate cells, modules, and full system assemblies.
A week in the life
From early triage on a misbehaving pump skid to refining a DAQ sensor integration with Controls, your days mix handson troubleshooting with systematic rootcause analysis, documentation, and crossfunctional collaboration. You’ll partner with Test Technicians to maximize uptime, align with Design Engineering to translate requirements into robust hardware, and constantly look for ways to increase stability and reliabilityalways with a sharp focus on safety.
