The Greer Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our medical clinic client in Raleigh!

PAY & BENEFITS
- $25.35 per hour

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collect patient information using standardized tools and procedures as delegated by a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Observe patients for physical or behavioral signs that may require medical attention and report findings to the nurse or provider.
- Accurately document patient information, observations, and services in electronic and paper records.
- Review objective patient data, including lab results, against nurse-delegated standing medical orders to determine appropriate next steps.
- Prepare treatment and testing equipment and assist with positioning patients for procedures.
- Perform clinical tasks and simple treatments as delegated by an RN.
- Administer immunizations and medications as delegated by an RN, following appropriate orders, schedules, and techniques.
- Collect, process, and transport specimens, laboratory materials, and pharmacy items with proper documentation.
- Answer routine patient and family questions about medical care and preventive health using established guidelines.
- Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive support to patients and families.
- Identify patients’ socioeconomic needs and share available resource information.
- Protect patient confidentiality and follow privacy, infection-control, and medication handling procedures.
- Monitor and maintain medical supply inventory.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification; a copy of certification is required.
- Current CPR certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- At least six months of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Completion of a background check.
