Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with the ability to operate a GPS Dozer or Excavator, specifically a Caterpillar D6N or motor grader. The role involves digging trenches for pipe or poly pipe installation and moving dirt piles to designated areas on the job site. The operator must conduct pre-operational checks of equipment and adhere strictly to safety protocols.

• Operate GPS Dozer or Excavator, specifically Caterpillar D6N or motor grader.
• Dig trenches for laying pipe or poly pipe.
• Move piles of dirt to designated areas on the job site.
• Perform pre-operational checks of equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols.

• Experience with heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with construction, earthworks, and civil projects.
• Proficiency in using GPS technology in equipment operations.
• Ability to operate track hoe and perform digging tasks.

• Prior experience in construction and dirt work is required.

Work on a new construction site located at Mosaic sites, either in Plant City or nearby locations depending on your residence. Prepare for a hot environment with no shade on site. The work schedule is Monday to Saturday, with 10-hour days and optional volunteer shifts on Sundays. Orientation and training sessions are scheduled at Polk State College and the company office.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mulberry, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
