Project Manager - Highway / Heavy Civil - Philadelphia

BELMONT Search is a Construction and Infrastructure executive search firm. We are engaged on Project Manager searches with heavy civil and highway contractors in the Philadelphia region and South Jersey.

THE OPPORTUNITY

PennDOT, Turnpike and authority contracts, run from award through final acceptance. The Project Manager carries the schedule, the cost and the relationship with the awarding authority, and reports to a project executive or to ownership.

THE ROLE

The job is yours from award. Superintendents and foremen run your crews, and the monthly estimate is your number.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Projects from award through final acceptance
• Schedule, cost, quantities and the monthly estimate
• Subcontracts, change orders and claims documentation
• The authority's project and inspection staff
• Prevailing wage, submittals and the records public work requires
• The superintendents and foremen on your jobs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Five or more years managing highway or heavy civil construction
• Public work under DOT or authority specifications
• ECMS, or a comparable state bidding and administration system
• Quantities, production and the monthly estimate

COMPENSATION

Base of $125,000 to $160,000, plus bonus.
