About the Role: Shane Mason Insurance Agency Inc is looking for a motivated and personable Insurance Sales Agent to join our growing team in Plymouth, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career helping clients protect what matters most all while being part of a supportive, client-focused agency.
Responsibilities:- Prospect and generate new client leads through networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
- Consult with clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Sell personal and/or commercial insurance products including auto, home, life, and business policies
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive retention and policy renewals
- Process policy applications, endorsements, and changes accurately and efficiently
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and performance goals
- Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and state insurance regulations
Requirements:- Active Minnesota Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a related field preferred
- Strong communication, persuasion, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus
- Ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base
