Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Mebane, NC 27302
Job Type: Contract – 12 Months
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations in Mebane, NC. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of previous machine operator experience and be comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and perform routine production activities.
- Perform filling, utility operations, packing, packaging, assembling, labeling, and inspection.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs.
- Follow FDA, GMP, and ISO 9000 requirements.
- Perform basic math calculations and interpret written specifications.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards.
- Rotate between different tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Work effectively with team members and follow instructions from Team Leads/Supervisors.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of previous Machine Operator experience – required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to follow SOPs and detailed instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Willingness to perform different tasks and work flexible or extended hours when required.
