LOCATION

Field based across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Report to the Boynton Beach yard.

SCHEDULE

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is the working core of every crew we send out. You are responsible for completing the physical work on the property to the standard the crew leader sets, and for leaving the site clean.

You will be assigned to a maintenance, landscape construction or tree crew depending on the day and the work in front of us.

The property is judged on how it looks when the crew pulls away. That is the outcome this role is accountable for.

This is a strong fit for someone who shows up every day on time, works safely around equipment, and does not need to be told twice. Attendance and reliability matter more here than any single skill.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Complete the assigned mowing, edging, trimming, blowing and detail work on each property to the standard set by the crew leader.

• Load and unload equipment and material at the yard and at the job site.

• Drag brush, feed the chipper and keep the drop zone clear when assigned to a tree crew.

• Plant material, spread mulch and install sod when assigned to a landscape construction crew.

• Blow down and clean every site before the crew leaves, including the street and the client walkways.

• Perform a visual check of your assigned hand and power tools at the start and end of each day and report damage to the crew leader.

• Follow the safety instructions given in the daily field safety meeting, including required PPE.

• Tell the crew leader immediately when you see property damage, an irrigation leak or a safety hazard.

WHAT YOU WON'T DO

• You will not drive the company truck or tow the trailer unless you hold a valid license and have been specifically assigned to do so.

• You will not direct the crew or assign work to other laborers. The crew leader owns that.

• You will not communicate with the client about scope, schedule or pricing. Route all client questions to the crew leader.

• You will not perform equipment repair. You report damage, the crew leader and the shop handle the repair.

• You will not run a chainsaw or operate machinery you have not been cleared to operate.

TOOLS

• Commercial mowers, string trimmers, edgers and blowers

• Hand tools: shovels, rakes, pruners, loppers

• Chipper ground support and brush handling

• Required PPE including eye and ear protection

REQUIREMENTS

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• Able to work outdoors all day in South Florida heat, humidity and rain

• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work on your feet for a full shift

• Reliable transportation to the Boynton Beach yard for an early start

• Able to follow spoken instructions in English or Spanish

• Able to work safely around mowers, trimmers, chippers and moving vehicles

• Available Monday through Thursday year round, and occasional Fridays

• Preferred: previous landscape, nursery, agricultural or construction work

• Preferred: Spanish and English

SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• On time at the yard for the scheduled start, measured weekly.

• Assigned properties pass the crew leader's walk before the crew leaves the site.

• Site is fully blown down and cleared, including street and walkways, on every property.

• Tool and equipment damage is reported the same day it happens.

• Required PPE is worn on every job, verified by the crew leader.

• Zero preventable property damage incidents on assigned properties.
