The Weekend RN Supervisor at The Madison Health and Rehab reports to the Director of Nursing and provides balanced clinical supervision and direct resident care for a medium weekend team of 10–20 staff. This role supports safe, coordinated, and compassionate care through clinical oversight, resident care, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekend supervision for the clinical team.
- Oversee clinical care and support direct resident care needs.
- Coordinate staff assignments and weekend operations.
- Conduct resident assessments and identify changes in condition.
- Manage and oversee medication administration.
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate with physicians regarding resident care.
- Document and report incidents according to established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in geriatric nursing or long-term care.
- Knowledge of medication administration and electronic health records.
- Experience with staff supervision and clinical assessment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
