Required Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license and active ASHA CCC certification
  • Previous experience with K-12 students in a school setting (preferred, not required)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies for a variety of student needs and ages
  • Skilled in documentation and compliance with IEP processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted speech and language therapy services to K-12 students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs and measure progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records, write therapy reports, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide support and training to school staff as needed regarding language and communication development
  • Adjust intervention techniques to meet both individual and group needs
