RN - Emergency Room

RN – Emergency Room (Contract) – California 14473

• Pay: $1,987 – $2,230 per week

• Schedule: 12-hour Day Shifts (1st Shift)

• Hours: 36–48 hours per week

Position Overview:

• Provide coordinated nursing care for ER patients in accordance with established standards and the nursing process

• Work in a fast-paced acute care Emergency Department, delivering care to patients of all ages

• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making

Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze patient data to determine care needs

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

• Coordinate care delivery and promote a safe, healing environment

• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Provide education to patients, families, and staff

• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care

• Delegate tasks and coordinate duties among healthcare team members

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (3+ years preferred)

• RN license (California) required

• BLS/CPR certification required

• BSN preferred

• Acute care experience preferred

Additional Information:

• Facility provides triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients

• May include care within a trauma-designated department

• Compliance with required vaccinations is mandatory per facility policy
