Operating Room Registered Nurse, providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the surgical experience. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with physicians, nursing teams, and other clinical professionals while supporting excellent patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Coordinate and integrate patient care throughout each shift.
- Support safe, effective, and cost-conscious patient care practices.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate patient-care activities to nursing staff.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality improvement, risk management, and infection control.
- Coordinate care within the prescribed medical treatment plan.
- Support staff competency and appropriate use of clinical resources.
- Collaborate with the nursing leadership team to promote high-quality and safe patient care.
- Follow hospital emergency procedures, including emergency codes and Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
Required:
- Graduate of a state-approved or accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license/authorization to practice in Massachusetts as required by law.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN).
